Who Can I Talk To Privately If Something's Wrong?

Going through something tough with your coach, your NGB, your team, or just in your head? You can talk to someone privately, and it won't cost you anything.

The Athlete Ombuds is there just for athletes. They're independent from the USOPC and NGBs, and what you share stays confidential. They'll listen, help you figure out your choices, and connect you with the right people — the decisions stay yours.

A few things worth knowing: they can't give you legal advice, talking to them isn't the same as filing a formal complaint with the USOPC, and if someone's safety is at serious risk they may need to act on it.
