Accounting does not allow money to “hang out there” without posting. Only in circumstances when the payment received does not match the invoice total. The payment remains in a pending status until the correct amount has been received. In these cases, accounting contacts the bidder to collect funds as needed. Once all monies are collected, the invoice is marked paid. Liquidity Services also notifies the seller of your payment. If the payment window is near the 5 day deadline, Liquidity Services will contact the seller to let them know we have received a partial payment and are expecting the balance to be remitted shortly.
