Internet Not Working - Modem Reboot Flow

If your Telus internet isn’t working, try rebooting your modem. Rebooting often resolves temporary connectivity issues. Follow these steps:

  1. Check that all cables connected to your modem are secure.

  2. Unplug your modem from the power outlet.

  3. Wait at least 30 seconds to ensure the device fully powers down.

  4. Plug the modem back in and wait 2–3 minutes for the lights to stabilize. (Solid lights usually mean the modem is ready; blinking lights indicate it's still starting up.)

  5. Test your internet by opening a website or app on your computer or mobile device.

  6. If the issue continues, restart your router (if you have one) and your device, then test again.

👉 If you still can’t connect, check for a local service outage on the Telus website or contact Telus support for further troubleshooting.
