With Comm100 live chat, there is a delay time for a visitor’s status to change or disappear from the Agent Console in the following scenarios:
- When a visitor leaves your site, the time delay for status change (from In site/Chat ended to Out of site) is about 3 minutes.
- After a visitor leaves your site, the visitor stays in the visitor list for about 1 minute (in Out of site status) before disappearing from Agent Console.
The delay time is designed to buy you more time to view the chat transcripts, visitor information, or update pre-chat information after the visitor has left your site.
Note: The delay time becomes a little longer if the visitor has stayed on your site for more than half an hour.
