With Comm100 Live Chat, we provide sound notifications and popup notifications for various Live Chat events, including new visitors, new chats, new responses, chat ended, transferring chat, agent message, and more. You can customize these notifications in your Agent Console.

Step by Step Instructions
- Log in to your Comm100 Agent Console App.
If you are not using the Desktop App, log in to your account, and click Get Online & Chat from the left navigation menu. Click your avatar in the top right corner of the Agent Console, then choose Preferences.
- In the Preferences popup, click Live Chat, and scroll down to the Notification area.
- Enable or disable the alert sound or alert popup for different scenarios. You can use different alert sound for different scenarios and adjust the volume as needed.
- Click OK.
When you use Web App on a browser that supports HTML5 notifications (like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and more) for the first time, you will be asked whether let Comm100 Live Chat send you notifications. If you disabled the feature by accident, you could follow the steps below to turn on the notification.
Notifications on Chrome
- Click the Chrome menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Go to Settings.
- Click Privacy and security.
- Click Site Settings.
- In the dialog that appears, scroll down to the Notifications section.
- Check whether comm100.io domain (For example, https://dash11.comm100.io:443) is blocked. If yes, please delete the record manually.
- Refresh the Web App page, and you can enable the notification.
Notifications on Safari
- Click Safari in the top-left corner of the menu bar.
- Go to Preferences.
- In the Notifications section, allow comm100.io to show alerts in Notification Center.
Comm100 also provides mobile apps, allowing you to take chats from anywhere.
