The Secure Messaging Security tab allows you to add JWT validations, Contact Identity Key, and URLs to display a Secure Messenger. You can add and manage these configurations from the Comm100 Control Panel.
Step by Step Instructions
To customize Secure Messaging's security, follow these steps.
- Log in to your Comm100 Control Panel.
- From the left navigation menu, go to Ticketing & Messaging > Channels > Secure Messaging.
- Click the Secure Messenger link or click the Edit icon from the list of previously created secure messengers.
- Navigate to the Security tab, and do the following:
- Choose from available JSON Web Token (JWT) validation methods. To learn more about token validations, see this article.
- Share the key for Contact Identity in JWT Payload. To learn how to set up JWT Payload, see this article.
- Select the Display Secure Messenger on specified URLs only check box in case you want the Secure Messenger to display on specified URLs.
- Provide the URL in the field. For example, https://healthify.comm100.com.Note: Webpages that follow the same URL path will also be included. For example, if you list the URL "http://www.adomain.com/example/" all web pages, whose URLs start with this URL will be included.
- Click Save.
