Release Update (Feb 22, 2024) | New Agent Console Enhancements

This release update provides an overview of the bug fixes and enhancements made to the New Agent Console.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved the issue where clicking on the Currently Browsing page's Title always redirected agents to the first webpage the visitor landed on.
  • Addressed the occurrence of extra lines appearing between paragraphs in the visitor side chat window when copying and pasting multiple paragraphs from Word.

UI Enhancements

  • Increased the size of the country flag icon to provide a clearer and more visible representation.

  • Improved the Transfer access by changing it from an icon to a text button with enhanced visibility.

  • Added Expand All and Collapse All icons in the Help Content > Canned section for convenient management of canned message visibility.

  • Improved icon styling by darkening their outline color for better visibility.

  • Updated visitor avatars to display a random color and a specific letter, replacing the default gray avatar. When the visitor's name is empty, the letter "V" will represent them. If the system successfully reads the visitor's name, the first letter of the name will be displayed on the avatar.

  • Introduced image rotation capability on both the agent and visitor sides to ensure a proper orientation of images.
