This release update provides an overview of the enhancements made to Comm100 Chatbot and Knowledge Base.

Support for YouTube Videos in Chatbot Generative Answers

Comm100 NLP Chatbot can provide generative answers through deep learning and analysis of the extensive information sources you provide. In addition to online public webpages and local files, Comm100 Chatbot now supports YouTube videos as information sources to answer visitors’ questions. You can provide the URLs of YouTube videos for the Chatbot to use YouTube resources.

During a chat, when the Chatbot provides an answer based on YouTube videos, the visitor can see the reference video and click to open it.

Note: The Chatbot extracts English subtitles from the video. Videos with no English subtitles cannot be used. To learn more about how to use Generative Answers, see this article.

Version Control in Knowledge Base

Version control is added to Comm100 Knowledge Base to better track changes made to articles. You can enable version control for your knowledge base to keep track of changes made to the articles in it.

With version control enabled, you can view all the history revisions of an article. The first published version is saved as V1 in the system.

After publishing an article, you can edit it and save your changes without changing the published version showing to your audience.

You can also unpublish an article to hide it from your audience while saving it as a draft in the system.
